Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions' Strategy Approved

Doha, September 19 (QNA) - The executive committee of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions (ANNHRI) has approved its strategy for 2017 and discussed a range of cooperative programs with national and international institutions and civil society organizations.
    In its fourth extraordinary meeting in Doha, the committee also discussed the reality of national human rights institutions in the Arab region and the mechanism to activate its role in the international community. It also examined and discussed other related logistics topics, and decided to hold the next meeting in the Sultanate of Oman on 10 October, on the sidelines of the thirteenth meeting of the General Assembly of the ANNHRI.
The fourth extraordinary meeting was chaired by president of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions Dr Musa Suleiman Burayzat, and attended by Chairman of Qatar National Human Rights Committee Dr Ali Bin Samikh Al Marri, along with executive director of the ANNHRI Sultan bin Hassan Al Jamali, and a number of members of the executive committee of the Doha-based Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions.
