Madrid, April 17 (QNA) - Four people were killed on Sunday when their small aircraft crashed near a supermarket outside the Portuguese capital Lisbon, the Publico newspaper reported.
The plane exploded in the air shortly after taking off from an airport near the town of Tires in greater Lisbon, Publico reported citing the local fire brigade. The four people killed were the pilot and three passengers, but it is unclear whether there were further victims. A rescue and clean-up operation is still under way, Publico said.(QNA)
