Occupied Jerusalem, June 26 (QNA) - Dozens of Palestinians suffered suffocation with tear gas this evening during clashes with Israeli occupation forces in the city of Bethlehem in the West Bank.
Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) said the clashes erupted in the Al Muteena area, west of Bethlehem, during which occupation soldiers fired tear gas and sound bombs at Palestinians and their homes, causing dozens to suffocate.
In a related development, Israeli occupation forces arrested a freed Palestinian prisoner from Jenin camp in the West Bank without any charge.
Israel detains about 4,850 Palestinians in 23 prisons and detention centers, including 41 female prisoners, 225 children, and 520 administrative detainees without charge, according to institutions specialized in prisoner affairs.(QNA)
