Doha, June 28 (QNA) - Ministry of Justice MOJ launched Tuesday a project for a portal that will document work procedures of the administrative units, and the procedures of all services provided by the ministry in accordance with the latest international standards.
During the launching ceremony of the project, HE Minister of Justice Masoud bin Mohammed Al Amri said that this vital project comes out of the ministry's commitment to developing the services it provides. His Excellency pointed out that the strategic plan for the Ministry of Justice includes an integrated vision to modernize and develop the procedural system for work in the ministry. His Excellency added that it is important to have documentation of work procedures in all administrative units to avoid personal diligence and the difference in the implementation of the transaction from one employee to another, and then providing the procedures that have been documented and approved with all related data, and other data that pertain to all the activities of the ministry, through the knowledge portal to be a single source of truth for data in the ministry that depends on it in support of decision-making.
For her part, the Director of Planning and Quality Department at the Ministry of Justice Hessa Al Sulaiti said that the portal, in addition to documenting (696) procedures in all administrative units, aimed to prepare and update manuals of services and procedures in all administrative units in the Ministry of Justice. The project also aims to provide an interactive central database that reflects all the data and information related to the activities of the ministry and its related entities, classifying and categorizing them in a way that ensures the provision of the required statement with the expected quality in terms of accuracy, speed, and effort required to obtain such data. The portal also provides informational tools and analytical reports that help raise performance efficiency, develop work mechanisms, and achieve speed in decision-making. (QNA)
