Madrid, June 29 (QNA) - The Secretary General of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Jens Stoltenberg confirmed that NATO members approved the decision of extending the invitation to Finland and Sweden to be members in NATO.
He stated in a press conference on the sidelines of NATO Summit in Madrid that NATO leaders approved the new strategic vision of NATO which considers Russia as a big threat, indicating that the summit relayed a very strong message to Ukraine, which will be supplied with more military equipment and air defense systems.
The Secretary General of North Atlantic Treaty Organization elucidated that, in light of the continuation of Russian-Ukraine war, it has been agreed to intensify the military reinforcements in eastern Europe to boost security in the region. (QNA)
