Jordanian King, Japanese PM Discuss Bilateral Ties, Regional and International Developments

Tokyo, September 27 (QNA) - Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida discussed Tuesday with King Abdullah II of Jordan, who is currently visiting Tokyo, bilateral relations and the overall regional and international developments.
During the talks, the Jordanian monarch reiterated the importance of intensifying international efforts to reach political solutions to the crises in the Middle East, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause.
The Jordanian Monarch stressed the need to restart the peace process on the basis of the two-state solution, praising Japan's supportive stance for peace efforts.
For his part, the Japanese Prime Minister affirmed his country's aspiration to strengthen the partnership with Jordan and its keenness to consolidate relations with it, as an axis of stability in the Middle East, stressing the importance of building on these efforts. (QNA)
