Ramallah, September 27 (QNA) - The Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs confirmed Tuesday that the Israeli occupation forces are still carrying out systematic detention operations against Palestinians of different ages, in addition to violating the rights of prisoners and detainees in a blatant abuse of the rights afforded by the entire international charters and norms.

In a statement, the commission clarified that a number of cases have been monitored for Palestinians being subject to the most brutal physical and moral tortures, including the case of the 16-year-old prisoner Diyar Evan from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron who was detained, assaulted, beaten and taken to prison where he is still being held there, along with the case of the 17-year-old prisoner Ahmed Ziyad Saleh Nimr from occupied Jerusalem, who was arrested and transferred to Damon prison.
