Kuwait: Cabinet Submits Government Resignation

Kuwait, October 01 (QNA) - The Kuwaiti Government has submitted its resignation to HH the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, following the declaration of the parliamentary elections' results in line with Kuwait Constitution of 2022.
This came after the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers, which was chaired by HH the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The Acting Kuwaiti Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Dr. Muhammad Al-Faris said that "The cabinet today approved a draft decree calling on the National Assembly to hold the first regular session of the 17th legislative term on October 11. It was also referred to HH the Amir".
The Article 57 of the Kuwaiti constitution stipulates that the ministry shall be reconstituted at the beginning of each legislative term of the National Assembly. (QNA)
