Ankara, October 01 (QNA) - The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the departure of 13 grain ships from the ports of Ukraine during the last three days.
In a statement on Saturday, the ministry indicated that over 5.5 million tons of grain have been shipped from Ukrainian ports during the last two months, stressing that shipments will continue safely as planned.
On July 22, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, and the United Nations signed the "initiative document for the safe shipping of grain and foodstuffs from Ukrainian ports" during a meeting hosted by Istanbul.
The agreement included securing exports of grain stuck in the Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea to the world. (QNA)
