Casablanca, February 24 (QNA) - Wydad Casablanca of Morocco have won the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Super Cup after beating TP Mazembe of DR Congo 1-0.

Amin Tighazoui scored for the champions Wydad Casablanca on the 83rd minute of the match.

Success for the Casablanca club continued a run of Moroccan football success that began last November when they defeated Al Ahly of Egypt to win the Champions League a second time.

The Super Cup is a competition between the winners of the African Champions League and the second-tier Confederation Cup. (QNA)
