Aman Center, International Organisation for Child Protection Sign Cooperation Protocol

Doha, June 11 (QNA) -The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN), a center governed by the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, has signed a cooperation protocol with the International Organisation for Child Protection-Brussels, it aims to strengthen cooperation between the two parties and to achieve their common goals by creating a sustainable and practical framework to enhance the quality of services provided to children, and to support the capabilities of regional and national partners through a sustainable program based on providing the highest levels of care and social protection to children.
The agreement was signed by Executive Director of Aman Centre, Abdulaziz al Ishaq and chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Organisation for Child Protection based in Brussels Abdulaziz al-Subaie.
Under the agreement, the two parties will cooperate to establish joint events and activities for children, such as training courses to build a system of competencies for the two parties affiliates, and to provide all kinds of cooperation in the areas of training work to serve the target groups, in addition to building and supporting strategic partnerships with institutions, organizations and research centers to benefit from their specialized programs of common interest, and to develop scientific research, as well as to hold joint events, seminars, conferences and training courses in the field of competence of the two parties, in a manner that serves the target groups.
Executive Director of Aman Center, stressed the importance of signing such protocols, which contribute to achieving the vision and mission of Aman Center and its strategic objectives in providing protection for children and creating a safe environment for them, noting that through this cooperation with the International Organisation for Child Protection, the two parties will be able to benefit from the continuous development of the work mechanism, by holding joint working sessions with them and with international institutions related to the field of child protection, and by exchanging experiences, information and data to provide advice and technical support to both parties. In addition to developing communication in accordance with the objectives and tools of mobilization and advocacy with houses of expertise and research centers, establishing academic partnerships in a way that contributes to serving the target groups of both parties, and organizing joint initiatives with the aim of improving cooperation with various international organizations.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Organisation for Child Protection said that they were pleased to sign a cooperation protocol with Aman Center for several reasons, the most important of which is to protect the children and make them aware of any violence they may be exposed to, so they understand the future of tomorrow.
Aman Center looks after protection & rehabilitation women and children who are victims of violence or break up. (QNA)
