Mexico City, June 12 (QNA) - First half goals from Israel Reyes and Henry Martin helped pace Mexico to a 3-0 triumph over Suriname in the CONCACAF Nations League on Saturday.
Mexico had the perfect start to the match with a third-minute goal by Israel Reyes. Henry Martin extended the lead with a penalty in the 40th minute, while Erick Sanchez scored a goal in the 90th minute.
With this result, Mexico added its first 3 points in the second place of Group A, while Suriname is in third place with 1 point.
Mexico will meet first-placed Jamaica in Group A next Wednesday. (QNA)
