  • Palestine

Ramallah, June 12 (QNA) - A Palestinian citizen was injured when he was run over by an Israeli military vehicle, and several others suffocated during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in Husan village, west of Bethlehem in the West Bank.
Security sources said that clashes erupted between Palestinians and occupation forces, during which a military vehicle ran over a 50-year-old citizen, while a number of Palestinians suffocated due to the use of tear gas by occupation forces.
Meanwhile, a building adjacent to the Ibrahimi Mosque suffered cracks and partially collapsed as a result of Israeli occupation forces prevention of the Hebron Endowment from carrying out renovations in and around the Ibrahimi Haram.
The Director General of the Hebron Endowment Nidal Al Jabari said that the building adjacent to the Haram cracked and partially collapsed as a result of occupation authorities prevention of its reconstruction, warning that these practices and attacks on the Haram by setting up occupation army posts above it pose a danger to it.
He stressed that all possible measures will be taken to stop the serious and repeated violations of the Israeli occupation against holy sites, which come as part of a Judaization plan, in violation of all international laws and norms.
In another development, Israeli occupation forces uprooted 95 olive trees after they bulldozed an area of land in the Batin Al-Masi area, south of the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem in the West Bank, as part of systematic series of violations that the area is exposed to by settlers and occupation forces.
