Qatar Chamber, Jordanian Labor Ministry Review Cooperation Relations

Doha, June 14 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber and the Jordanian Ministry of Labor discussed Tuesday ways to enhance bilateral relations and the role that the private sector can play in enhancing cooperation between the two parties.
This came during the meeting of HE Qatar Chamber First Vice-Chairman Mohamed bin Twar Al Kuwari and HE Jordanian Minister of Labor Nayef Stetieh and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting touched on bilateral relations in the fields of labor and the role played by the private sector in strengthening cooperation relations between the two countries.
HE Al Kuwari stressed the depth of the brotherly relations between the two countries. He said that the Chamber is ready to enhance cooperation with the Jordanian side in matters related to jobs, pointing to the important role that labor recruitment agencies can play in this regard.
He added that there is a good demand for employment and that Jordanian have a good reputation in terms of efficiency and skill, pointing out that the Qatar Chamber encourages Qatari private sector companies to employ Jordanians.
HE Jordanian Minister of Labor referred to the depth of the relations between the two brotherly countries, pointing to the Qatari initiative to employ 20,000 Jordanians in Qatar.
HE Stetieh added that he sensed the interest and keenness of the Qatari private sector to employ Jordanians, pointing out that he wanted to cooperate between the ministry and the Qatar Chamber to further stimulate the private sector toward employing Jordanians and to determine the available jobs and skills required.
