Israeli Occupation Targets Palestinian Farmers in Gaza Strip

Gaza, June 15 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces attacked, this evening, the farmers in the northern Gaza Strip with heavy machine gun fire and tear gas canisters. The Palestine News Agency (WAFA) stated that the occupation soldiers positioned in the military towers in the north east of Beit Hanoun extensively fired heavy machine guns and tear gas canisters at farmers and shepherds, forcing them to withdraw from their lands in the town.
The occupation forces intentionally shoot and launch tear gas on daily basis at agricultural lands and shepherds in the Gaza Strip, and prevent them from working on their lands.
In a related development, the occupation forces arrested a previous Palestinian prisoner and another young man on two military barricades near Jenin in the occupied west bank, and continue their raid campaigns against the Palestinian villages and towns in the occupied west bank and Jerusalem. The wave of arrests and gunfire with live bullets at Palestinian youths has been increased. (QNA)
