Ministry of Municipality Participates in International Atomic Energy Agency Meeting

Doha, June 16 (QNA) - The Livestock Department of the Ministry of Municipality participated in the meeting of the technical cooperation project coordinators with the International Atomic Energy Agency, at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change building.
During the meeting, the International Atomic Energy Agency praised the achievements made in managing livestock through obtaining support for the regional project on the use of nuclear techniques to combat priority common diseases, including bird flu, as well as the project to establish a single health unit that supports the work program to combat diseases of animal origin (Zodiac), where devices were received from the Agency for use in the laboratories of this unit.
It was also agreed, at the meeting, to fully coordinate and cooperate with the Livestock Department, through the agency's national liaison officer, to implement more future projects. (QNA)
