Al Sadd Appoint Lilo as New Coach

Doha, June 17 (QNA) - Al Sadd SC announced today that Spain's Manuel Lilo will succeed Javi Garcia in leading the team.
Al Sadd said that the new coach will arrive in Doha Sunday to sign his contract and hold a press conference.
Lilo was an assistant to Pep Guardiola in Manchester City, and to Jorge Sampaoli with Sevilla and Chile. He also managed 10 different teams during his career. He is the third straight Spanish coach that Al Sadd hire, following Xavi and Garcia.
Champions Al Sadd will face Al Markhiya in the opening round of the league. (QNA)
