Beijing, June 18 (QNA) - A fire broke out at a petrochemical enterprise in China's Shanghai early on Saturday killing one person.
The fire occurred at about 4 a.m. at the ethylene glycol plant area of Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co., Ltd, Chinese News Agency (Xinhua) reported.
Fire officials said that the fire that broke out in one of the largest refining and petrochemical plants in China started in the morning, and was brought under control after five hours, and firefighting efforts are still continuing.
He added that the fire affected an ethylene glycol facility in the factory located in Jinshan suburb, southwest of China's financial capital.(QNA)
