Tokyo, June 19 (QNA) - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 struck Ishikawa Prefecture, on the Sea of Japan coast, on Sunday.
The quake occurred at a depth of around 10 km, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
There was no danger of a tsunami, the Agency added.
There have been no reports so far of human or material losses as a result of the earthquake.
Japan is located within the "Ring of Fire" in the Pacific Ocean, a region where a large number of earthquakes and volcanoes are active. (QNA)
