Occupied Jerusalem, June 19 (QNA) - A number of Palestinian workers were suffered from suffocation by the occupation forces' tear gas canisters after being chased near a military checkpoint, southwest of Tulkarm, in the northwest of the West Bank on Sunday.
The occupation forces chased the workers when they tried to enter their workplaces in the 1948 territories, and fired tear gas canisters at them, causing a number suffocation cases, Palestine news agency (WAFA) said.
Moreover, the Israeli occupation forces arrested today eight Palestinians, including two freed prisoners, in the West Bank.
Security sources told WAFA that the occupation forces arrested five Palestinians, including a freed prisoner from Bethlehem, and three others including a freed prisoner in north of Hebron today.
The Israeli occupation forces launch a campaign of arrests and raids on an almost daily basis in the West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem, as part of their repressive practices against the Palestinian people. (QNA)
