Heavy Rains, Floods Sweep South China

Beijing, June 19 (QNA) - Severe storms in large areas of southern China caused floods and mudslides.
China Meteorological Administration said in a statement on Sunday that rain is expected to continue until early next week.
Local media reported earlier that five people were killed in Guangxi when a wooden house collapsed after being hit by heavy rain.
The rainfall in some Chinese regions is the heaviest in 60 years, with early summer storms this year coming more intense and longer than usual. (QNA)
