Doha, June 20 (QNA) - The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) reviewed with the industry leaders and policy makers the opportunities of localizing the ICT value chain and opportunities for the growth of this sector to serve the Qatari economy.
This came during the workshop convened on localizing the ICT value chain under the Chairmanship of CRA, in the framework of an expanded strategic research study being carried out by the authority with the goal of compiling data necessary to enhance the vision for the communication and information technology sector in the state of Qatar.
The interactive workshop was attended by a host of local, international and startups in the field of communication and information technology among other sectors. It also included licensing platforms, government entities, as well as other representatives from the communications and information technology ecosystem.
Upon completion of the research study in question, CRA is set to present a report that underlies the data and findings of the study. (QNA)
