Omani FM Meets US Special Envoy to Yemen

Muscat, June 21 (QNA) - Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi met on Tuesday with HE the US Special Envoy to Yemen Timothy Lenderking, who is currently visiting Muscat.
They discussed efforts related to enabling and sustaining the truce in Yemen, as well as enhancing confidence and constructive dialogue between all Yemeni parties and forces.
The two sides affirmed their support for the efforts of the UN Secretary-General's Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg towards ending the war and entering into a comprehensive political process that meets the aspirations of the Yemeni people in achieving security, stability and peace and in achieving reconstruction, development and prosperity.
On June 2, the Yemeni warring parties agreed to a UN proposal to extend the truce in Yemen for two additional months. (QNA)
