Occupied Jerusalem, August 01 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces arrested on Monday Jerusalem Governor Adnan Ghaith.
The occupation forces stormed the governor's house in the town of Silwan, south of occupied Jerusalem, searched it and tampered with its contents, before arresting him, Palestine News Agency (Wafa) reported.
The occupation forces have arrested the Jerusalem Governor more than 30 times since he assumed office in 2018, and have also prevented him from entering the West Bank, under the pretext of communicating with the Palestinian leadership.

Dozens of Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque

Dozens of settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday under the heavy guard of the Israeli occupation police.
The Department of Islamic Endowments in occupied Jerusalem reported that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in successive groups, from the side of the Mughrabi Gate, and performed Talmudic rituals and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards and squares, and listened to explanations about their alleged temple.
These calls come amid accelerating efforts by the alleged Temple groups to mobilize thousands of their elements for a wide-scale storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the anniversary of the so-called Second Temple Destruction which coincides Aug. 7th.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected daily, except for Friday and Saturday, to a series of incursions and violations by settlers, and on two shifts, morning and evening, in an attempt to impose a plan to divide it temporally and spatially. (QNA)
