New Kuwaiti Government Takes Constitutional Oath

Kuwait City, August 02 (QNA) - The new Kuwaiti government headed by HH Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah took the constitutional oath today before HH Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasion of taking office.
In a speech addressed to the new government, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince said that the ministers will be in charge of great responsibilities and entrusted with the well-being of the homeland and its people, for which the ministers are capable of carrying.
Al-Sabah added that this important moment in time requires redoubling efforts, and working with a team spirit in order to accelerate the development and construction of the country.
Moreover, the Crown Prince called on the new government to work hard to meet expectations embodied in respect for the constitution, and laws and regulations, as well as troubleshooting and resolving inefficiencies and issues people face in ministries and governmental bodies.
On Monday, an Amiri decree was issued in Kuwait to form the new government, consisting of 12 ministers, headed by HH Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. (QNA)
