QNB Stars League/ Al Rayyan and Al Shamal Coaches Aspire to Win in Tomorrow's Match

Doha, August 02 (QNA) - Coaches of Al Rayyan SC and Al Shamal SC expressed their hope that tomorrows match will be a strong start of the first round of the Qatar Football League. The match will be hosted by Jassim bin Hamad Stadium at Al Sadd Club.
Al Rayyan SC Chilean coach Nicolas Cordova expressed during a press pre-match conference, his great eagerness to achieve the three points in tomorrow's match, noting that his team reached the required degree of readiness.
Cordova added that beginnings are always hard, but his team prepared to the best of its ability, and underwent a successful training camp. The coach also said that Al Rayyan team's physical preparation is good, and the team is ready to win the first match. Cordova further noted that Al Shamal performed well last season, and will have its complete ranks in tomorrows match, unlike Al Rayyan, who suffers from the absence of some of its players due to injury, rendering the match more difficult.
The coach added that he noted Al Shamals playing style and strategies, thus equipping Al Rayyan accordingly.
For his part, Moroccan coach Hisham Zahid confirmed his team's determination to get a satisfactory result in tomorrow's match, without denying the challenge that is before his team facing off against a strong team such as Al Rayyan.
Zahid explained that his team is as ready as should be, yet with a higher ambition than last season, when its goal was just to stay in the league, elaborating that this season Al Shamal aims for a good position away from the danger zone, expressing full confidence in his team players to reap the three points.
It is worth mentioning that Al Rayyan the second most crowned champion in the league, with eight titles behind Al Sadd (16 titles), ranked eighth last league season with 24 points, whereas Al Shamal SC ranked tenth with 22 points. (QNA)
