Iraq Achieves more than $10.6 as Preliminary Statistic for Crude Oil Exported in July

Baghdad, August 01 (QNA) - The Iraqi Ministry of Oil announced today that it achieved revenues of more than $10.6 billion as a preliminary statistic for the quantities of crude oil exported during the month of July.
According to the preliminary report issued by the Iraqu State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO), the total amount of crude oil exports amounted to more than 102 million barrels, with revenues exceeding $10 billion.
The statistics added that the total quantities of crude oil exported for the month of July were from oil fields in central and southern Iraq, amounted to more than 99 million barrels, and quantities exported from the Kirkuk fields through the port of Ceyhan, amounted to more than two million barrels.
They explained that the average daily quantities amounted to 3 million and 303 thousand barrels per day, noting that the average price per barrel amounted to more than $103.60.
Iraqi revenues from oil exports have witnessed, in recent months, a significant increase thanks to the growth of global demand and the rise in prices, which provided more funds to support the country's general budget.(QNA)
