Prime Minister of Tajikistan Meets GCC Secretary-General

Dushanbe, August 03 (QNA) - Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda met Wednesday the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Al Hajraf, within the Secretary-General's tour to the Central Asian republics.
During the meeting, Al Hajraf stressed the importance of strengthening the close partnership between the Gulf Cooperation Council and Tajikistan at all levels.
A number of international and regional issues and efforts exerted in their regard, areas of joint cooperation and many and varied opportunities for enhancing cooperation were also reviewed.
The GCC Secretary-General and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin signed a joint memorandum of understanding and held a session of official talks on cooperation relations between GCC states and Tajikistan. (QNA)
