  • LEBANONTURKEY

Istanbul, August 03 (QNA) - The Joint Coordination Center (JCC) delegation in Istanbul finished Wednesday the inspection procedures of the Ukrainian grain-carrying ship Razoni which departed from Ukraine's Odesa port heading for Lebanon.

The ship inspection took almost 90 minutes, Turkey's Anadolu reported, pointing out that the JCC delegation in Istanbul made the inspection procedures of the corn-loaded Razoni ship where it is anchored north of the Bosphorus.

The grain-carrying ship is bound to Port Of Tripoli, Lebanon after the clearance from the JCC in Istanbul.

On Tuesday evening, Turkey's defense ministry announced the arrival of the grain-carrying ship Razoni to the Bosphorus entrance after setting sail Monday morning from Ukraine's Odesa port.
On July 22, Ukraine and Russia signed a landmark deal with Turkey and the United Nations aimed at easing a global food crisis caused by blocked Black Sea grain deliveries.
The agreement guarantees securing exports of grain stuck in the Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea to the world. (QNA)
