Algeria, August 03 (QNA) - Algerian Minister of Energy and Mines Mohamed Arkab announced that Algeria will raise its oil production by 2,000 barrels per day, during the next month of September.
In a press statement today, Arkab said that this increase will allow Algeria to reach a production level of one million and 57 thousand barrels.
This increase comes in implementation of the decision of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and their allies (OPEC+) today, where they agreed to increase production by 100,000 barrels per day during the month of September. The decision came after the conclusion of the 31st ministerial meeting of the member states of the alliance, which was held visually. (QNA)
