Qatar Face Bahrain in GCC U-18 Basketball Junior Championship Semi-Final

Dubai, August 04 (QNA) - Qatar Basketball Junior National Team will play Bahrain in the semi-final of the GCC U-18 Championship for the Asian Cup, currently held in the UAE and due to run till Aug. 6.
Qatar topped the group stage table with ten points from five successive wins over the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait, while the fourth-placed Bahrain bagged seven points from two wins over the UAE and Oman and three losses to Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
Qatar seek to assure their superiority over Bahrain after securing a 63-47 victory in their group stage match.
The winners at the semi finals will play the final match on Saturday and qualify for Asian Cup set to be held in late September in Tehran. (QNA)
