Israeli Court Puts Jerusalem City Governor Under House Arrest

Jerusalem, August 04 (QNA) - A court in the Israeli Occupation state issued a decision imposing house arrest on Jerusalem City Governor Adnan Adel Tawfiq Ghaith, without specifying a time period for its decision.
The Lawyer of Jerusalem Governorate Rami Othman said that the Israeli occupation court decided to issue house arrest against Jerusalem City Governor Adnan Adel Tawfiq Ghaith without specifying the time for his trial, adding that the court had imposed an excessive bail on him.
The Israeli occupation forces had previously arrested Governor Ghaith from his home in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque. (QNA)
