Khartoum, August 06 (QNA) - Sudan expressed its condemnation and protest after the killing of 18 citizens and wounding others in the areas of "Bir Sleiba" and "Aradaiba" in the border state of West Darfur, by Chadian armed groups, which penetrated into Sudanese territory on August 3.
This came during a meeting between Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Sadiq Saturday with the Chadian Ambassador to Khartoum.
During the meeting, as reported by the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), the Foreign Minister demanded that Chad makes an effort to arrest the "fugitives" and return the stolen goods to their families in Sudan as soon as possible.
For his part, the Chadian ambassador stressed that his country will spare no effort in maintaining relations with Khartoum and developing them in a way that serves security, peace and stability on both sides, noting that N'djamena will not allow anything that would disturb this relationship.(QNA)
