Occupied Jerusalem, September 14 (QNA) - Dozens of settlers stormed Wednesday the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, while 12 Palestinians were arrested from several areas in the West Bank.
Successive groups of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, performed Talmudic rituals and listened to explanations about the alleged temple guarded by the Israeli occupation police, Palestine News Agency (Wafa) said.
These incursions come amid preparations by the settlers to carry out the largest historic incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sep. 29 on the occasion of the so-called "Hebrew New Year".
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces launched today a massive arrest campaign against 12 Palestinians, from several different areas in the West Bank.
Wafa stated that the occupation forces arrested seven Palestinians, including four brothers, from Nablus and four others from Ramallah and Al-Bireh.
In Hebron, the occupation forces arrested a Palestinian youth, after raiding his workplace, and took him to an unknown destination.
