Chinese President Starts Official Visit to Kazakhstan


Nur-Sultan, September 14 (QNA) - Chinese President Xi Jinping began on Wednesday a visit to Kazakhstan.
In his first visit since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Chinese President Xi Jinping will discuss with his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev prospects for strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. The talks are expected to result in the signing of several bilateral agreements.
The Chinese president will visit Uzbekistan to participate in the 22nd meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which will be held in Samarkand on September 15-16. (QNA)
