Amman, September 13 (QNA) - Jordanian authorities announced today the death of two people and the injury of 14 others - according to an initial toll - as a result of the collapse of an apartment building in Jabal Al-Weibdeh area in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Hazem Al Beqain, Director of Luzmila Hospital, said that the hospital received 13 injuries and one death, as a result of the collapse of the building, noting that all the injured are undergoing treatment, while the Public Security Directorate announced that its working teams had removed a second body from under the rubble.
Prince Hamzah Hospital also received a 13-year-old injured person.
Jordanian Prime Minister Bishr Al Khasawneh directed competent authorities to open an immediate investigation to find out the causes of the building's collapse. (QNA)
