Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Meets US Counterpart

Washington, September 16 (QNA) - Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Onal discussed with his American counterpart Wendy Sherman ways to strengthen relations of defense partnership between the two countries.
In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said that during the third round of bilateral consultations within the framework of the strategic mechanism between the two countries in Washington, the two sides discussed close cooperation relations within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
The two sides also exchanged views on relations and strategic and global issues of common interest, in addition to the necessity of combating terrorism in all its forms. (QNA)
