New York, September 17 (QNA) - UN member states will allow Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski to participate in the 77th UN General Assembly virtually.
Moscow had objected to Zalenski's participation via video conference, noting that it violates the rules proposed by UN member states. More than 50 countries that included the US, France, UK, South Korea, Colombia to make an exception for the Ukrainian President.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov meanwhile will be the one delivering his country's speech to the General Assembly.
More than 150 heads of state will speak at the General Assembly starting Tuesday. (QNA)
