Moscow, September 17 (QNA) - Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev, discussing bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of common interest.
In a statement issued by the Russian Presidency (the Kremlin), the two sides affirmed their quest to strengthen their strategic partnership and cooperation in the trade and economic fields.
It's noteworthy that the Russian President concluded his participation in the summit of leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), hosted by the city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan on Friday. (QNA)
