Ministry of Foreign Affairs Launches Twitter, Instagram Accounts in French, Spanish

Doha, September 18 (QNA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched Sunday Twitter and Instagram accounts in French and Spanish to enhance digital communication and introduce the activities and values of Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in both languages.
The accounts deal with the latest diplomatic developments, Qatar's positions on various regional and international developments, and the activities of Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials.
Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari said that the launch of these accounts serves as new communication channels with wide segments of French and Spanish speakers, enabling speakers of these languages to follow all ministry's activities.
Al Ansari pointed to the importance of the timing of the launch preceding the start of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 when the State of Qatar will be at the center stage of the World's attention, and so as the Qatari media outlets and channels will capture the interest of the tournament's fans.
