Riyadh, September 18 (QNA) - The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) confirmed that the pavilion for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in the commercial complexes in both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates witnessed a large turnout of fans to get a closer look at information related to the tournament.
SC Community Engagement & Commercial Development Executive Director Khalid Al Naama said in a statement on the sidelines of his presence in Riyadh that this turnout is expected due to the numbers of confirmed attendance for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 from ticket holders from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, in addition to the well-established social ties and geographical proximity between the countries of the region, which allows as many fans as possible in the two countries to enjoy the first-of-its-kind World Cup competitions in the Arab world and the Middle East.
The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy has recently launched the promotional tour for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The tour, which will run until September 28 at the Nakheel complexes in Riyadh, mall of Arabia in Jeddah and Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, will include introducing fans in their various sectors to the most important information related to the Championship, such as obtaining a Hayya card, booking accommodation, learning about the fans ' experience and the journey to stadiums and entertainment and cultural destinations that Qatar abounds with.
The mass events and activities of shopping complexes have a special corner to help issue a Hayya card, book accommodation, as well as an area for entertainment games, and a 3D platform for taking souvenir photos. (QNA)
