Mexico City, September 19 (QNA) - A 7.6 magnitude earthquake hit western Mexico with a depth of 15km on the epicenter around the coast near Michoacan-Colima states border, which resulted in a tsunami, as stated by the US Geological Survey.
The earthquake shook buildings. Residents of the capital took to the streets, on the anniversary of two earthquakes that caused large numbers of deaths.
Claudia Sheinbaum, Mayor of Mexico City, said that so far there have been no reports of damage in the capital after the earthquake.
