GCC, ICRC Sign MoU

New York, September 19 (QNA) - Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al Hajraf met Monday with President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Peter Maurer, on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
During the meeting, a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the GCC General Secretariat and the ICRC, which includes strengthening cooperation relations between the two parties in fields of mutual work.
GCC Secretary-General highlighted the importance of strengthening joint cooperation with ICRC in order to serve common interests. (QNA)
