Qatar Stock Exchange Begins Trading Today in Green Zone

Doha, September 20 (QNA) - The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange jumped at the beginning of trading on Tuesday by 149.62 points, with a growth rate of 1.16 percent, to reach the level of 13,010 points, compared to the end of trading on Monday.
The increase in the performance of the Qatar Stock Exchange index is due to the improvement of most sectors, as the transportation sector increased by 2.13 percent, the real estate sector by 1.37 percent, the banking and financial services sector by 1.36 percent, the industrial sector by 0.80 percent, the communications sector by 0.40, and the industrial sector by 0.40 percent and consumer goods and services by 0.35 percent. In contrast, the insurance sector decreased by 0.22 percent.
The Qatari Stock Exchange recorded, at 10:00, a trading value of QR81.700 million, distributed among 29.025 million shares, with the implementation of 2532 transactions. (QNA)
