Turkey Rescues 300 Migrants After Distress Call off Coast of Antalya

Ankara, September 20 (QNA) - Turkish coast guards rescued 300 illegal migrants off the coast of Antalya province after receiving a distress call from their boat.
In a statement, the Turkish coast guards said that its crews rushed to rescue migrants from their boat off the coast of Kas district, in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, as stated by Turkish coast guards.
Turkish-Bulgarian and Turkish-Greek borders and shores are witnessing an increase in the number of illegal migrants taking the land or sea route in the hope of reaching the territory of one of the European countries. (QNA)
