Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Meets US Special Envoy for Yemen

New York, September 19 (QNA) - HE Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met today with HE the US Special Envoy for Yemen Timothy Lenderking, on the sideline of the 77th UN General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments in Yemen, especially the humanitarian situation.
HE the Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs reiterated the position of the State of Qatar calling for a solution to the Yemeni crisis based on the GCC Initiative and the relevant Security Council resolutions, especially resolution No. 2216. (QNA)
