Doha September 22 (QNA) - The Educational Training and Development Center at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in cooperation with the Arab Educational Training Center, has started implementing a training program to develop leadership skills for public school leaders, which will continue until Oct. 6.
Twenty five female trainees from administrative affairs, academic affairs and kindergarten affairs participate in the program, which is being implemented through three axes and packages emanating from the national professional standards of the State of Qatar, with the aim of developing leadership skills for leaders of public schools in the country, who seek to obtain their professional licenses that enable them to perform their tasks skillfully and effectively, and enhancing their abilities to anticipate future challenges.
The Arab Educational Training Center, based in Doha, is a specialized device of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS) and was established in 2001. (QNA)
