QU Signs MoU with Moldova State University

Doha, September 22 (QNA) - Qatar University (QU) signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Moldova State University to establish joint cooperation in the field of education and research.
The MoU was signed by HE President of QU Dr. Hassan Rashid Al Derham and HE Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the State of Qatar Victor Tvircun. As part of the agreement, both parties agree to exchange information including newsletters, journals, studies, statistics and other data, as well as to conduct studies, hold conferences, meetings and training.
HE President of QU said that this agreement recognizes the vital and effective role that ministries and government entities play in serving the country and the society. He added that the MoU is an important step in formalizing the relationship to further performance in various scientific, technical, research areas, and students affairs.
For his part, HE Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the State of Qatar said that the MoU is an impetus for cooperation in the educational field between the two universities and will strengthen the bonds between them. (QNA)
