Cairo, September 22 (QNA) - The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) left its overnight interest rates unchanged on Thursday.
The bank kept the deposit rate at 11.25 percent and its lending rate at 12.25 percent, CBE said in a statement.
CBE raised the reserve ratio to 18 percent from 14 percent, explaining that this would help tighten liquidity.
