New York, September 21 (QNA) - US President Joe Biden said that Russia's invasion of Ukraine has violated United Nations principles, mentioning that Putin is making "irresponsible nuclear threats." During a speech before the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Biden stressed that the Russian operation is unjustified and prompted about 40 UN members to help Ukraine in the fight with funding and weapons, adding that "a nuclear war can never be won and must never be fought".
The US President explained that no one threatened Russia, despite its claims, and that no one but Russia sought conflict, pledging that USA would continue to stand in solidarity with Ukraine. (QNA)
